The authors show an association of QTL Skts14 in mouse Chromosome 7 at 14 Mb with , Skts15 on mouse Chromosome 12 at 17.7 Mb (Based on 2,000 kb / cM = approx 8 cM). In addition other interactions between Skts14 and Skts5 and between Skts1 and Skts15 were not significant, showing the independence of the two interactions between the mouse Chromosomes 7 and 12 loci.
