Allele Type: Targeted (Conditional ready) Mutation: Insertion Mutation details: A floxed STOP cassette was inserted upstream of a modified exon 1 in which an Esr1 cDNA is fused to the coding sequence with the nucleotide susbtitution that results in the amino acid substitution of glycine with aspartic acid at position 12 (p.G12D). Flp-mediated recombination removed an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance cassette inserted downstream of the modified exon 1. (J:220921)
