The segregation of genes that may contribute to the susceptibility of experimental allergic encephalomyelitis in mice was analyzed in (ABH x NOD)F1 x NOD backcross mice. In a genome wide scan including all autosomes and the X-Chromosome a total of 100 microsatellites were examined.

Significant association of Eae6 with mouse Chromosome 11 was indicated at D11Nds29 and included a region defined by D11Mit77 and D11Mit4.
