Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Constitutively active, Humanized sequence, Inducible, Inserted expressed sequence)
Inducer:    doxycycline/tetracycline
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(tetO-PTPN11*E76K)#Jiwu expresses 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe chicken beta-globin insulator sequence and tetracycline operator are used to drive inducible expression of a constitutively active human PTPN11 containing the E76K mutation with a C-terminal Flag tag. A pair of oppositely oriented heterotypic L3 and L2 loxP sites flank the transgenic cassette. Three lines that show no leaky expression of the transgene were created: 398, 425, and 417. However, the pound symbol (#) is used when the line is not specified and/or lines are pooled. (J:212505)
