• Mutation details: A full-length, 2.5-kb mouse Tbx21 cDNA was inserted into the VA CD2 expression vector between, 5', the promoter, ATG-free mutant first exon and first intron of the human CD2 gene and 3', also from the CD2 gene, ~500 bp of 3' untranslated and flanking DNA including two polyadenylation signals and the 3' locus control region. A lacZ reporter gene was shown to be expressed from this vector in mature peripheral CD4⁺CD8^- and CD4^-CD8⁺ SP T lymphocytes and in peripheral CD4^-CD8^- DN T cells. (J:128630)
