Mutation details: Exon 3 was replaced with a modified one in which nucleotide substitutions result in the amino acid substitutions of alanine for arginine at position 101 (R101A) and lysine for glutamine at position 123 (Q123K). Flp-mediated recombination removed the FRT- and loxP-flanked neomycin resistance cassette inserted downstream of the modified exon 3.
