Mutation details: A construct was inserted between exons 1 and 2 of this locus that encodes the CAG promoter followed by a loxP flanked a B-geo-STOP cassette followed by a loxN site then a Tau-mTurquoise sequence and woodchuck hepatitis post-transcriptional regulatory element (WPRE) followed by a lox2272 then a loxN site followed by a Tau-tdTomato sequence immediately followed by an IRES and dominant negative Gnas sequence a WPRE and lox2272 site. This allele can be cre-induced to generate stochastic expression of either Tau-Turquoise alone or Tau-tdTomato along with the dominant negative GNAS.
