Congenic NOD.c3c4 and congenic derivatives of NOD.c3c4 were inforamtive to map autoimmune biliary disease locus (Abd1) to mouse Chromosome 4. Strains 1802 develops autoimune desease whereby Strain 1802 did not implicating a region of mouse Chromosome 4 between D4Mit27 and D4Mit200. A region of approximately 30 megabases is involved.
