Mutation detailsA targeting construct incorporating exons 1-8 is used to place a loxP-flanked neomycin cassette in intron 1, and remove U32a, U33, U34, and U35a small nucleolar RNAs (snoRNAs) from introns 2, 4, 5, and 6, respectively. Cre-mediated recombination removed the floxed neo cassette. Rpl13a mRNA and protein levels are indistinguishable from wild-type controls. (J:237822)
