Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Hypomorph)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThe targeting vector contains a loxP-flanked PGKneo cassette upstream of Biotin-3xFLAG (BioFL) sequence (encoding a biotin recognition motif and 3 copies of the FLAG epitope) inserted at the C-terminus of the Sp7 gene. Cre-mediated recombination removed the upstream floxed neo cassette. Western blotting detects the modified allele at slightly reduced levels as compared to wild-type. Temporal and spatial distributions is equivalent to the endogenous Sp7 gene expression. (J:235520)
