• Mutation details: The human ventricular myosin essential light chain cDNA with a 43-amino acid N-terminal truncation is under the control of the mouse alpha-myosin heavy chain promoter, including the first two exons and part of the third. The truncated protein is similar in sequence to the short MYL3 present in skeletal muscle.
