Mutation
origin
Strain of Origin:  C57BL/6
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsUsing four sgRNAs and CRISPR/Cas9 technology in C57BL/6 zygotes to delete exon 2, resulted in the creation of four mutant pups (No.7, 10, 22 and 26). Founder number 7 was used to establish a germ line. This allele represents a 146 bp deletion, which removes most of exon 2 and creates a frame shift and premature stop codon. (J:244081)
Inheritance:    Recessive
