Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Not Applicable)
Mutations:    Insertion, Nucleotide substitutions

Mutation detailsAn FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette was inserted upstream of exon 4. Exon 5 was modified with a nucleotide substitution (AGC to GAC) resulting in the amino acid substitution of aspartic acid for serine at position 120 (S120D). This modification creates a phospho-mimetic version. Flp-mediated recombination removed the selection cassette. (J:260973)
