description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Inserted expressed sequence, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Tie2-Gja5*,-EGFP)#Dach expresses 1 gene

Mutation detailsA transgene construct containing the following elements, in order, randomly inserted into the genome: the Tie2 promoter, a 1.3kb BamHI/NaeI Cx40 DNA segement, an IRES, the EGFP fluorescent reporter gene, a human growth hormone polyadenylation signal, and a Tie2 enhancer. The coding sequence of the inserted gene has an engineered A>T substitution at coding nucleotide 604 causing threonine codon 202 to change to a serine codon (p.Thr202Ser). This mutation is located in a conserved functional peptide sequence. (J:218811)
