A>T substitution giving rise to Thr202Ser change in encoded peptide |
Mutation details: A transgene construct containing the following elements, in order, randomly inserted into the genome: the Tie2 promoter, a 1.3kb BamHI/NaeI Cx40 DNA segement, an IRES, the EGFP fluorescent reporter gene, a human growth hormone polyadenylation signal, and a Tie2 enhancer. The coding sequence of the inserted gene has an engineered A>T substitution at coding nucleotide 604 causing threonine codon 202 to change to a serine codon (p.Thr202Ser). This mutation is located in a conserved functional peptide sequence.
