Mutation details: This transgene consists of a hemagglutinin (HA)-tagged fragment of Ncoa6 encoding amino acids 849-929 under the control of the chicken beta-actin promoter linked to a human cytomegalovirus immediate-early enhancer (CAG). This Ncoa6 fragment encompasses the N-terminal LXXLL motif (called DN1) and has a strong dominant negative effect on transactivation by retinoid and other nuclear receptors. This line shows transgene expression in the eye, heart, and brain.
