Mutation details: This transgene consists of a hemagglutinin (HA)-tagged fragment of Ncoa6 encoding amino acids 849-929 under the control of the chicken beta-actin promoter linked to a human cytomegalovirus immediate-early enhancer (CAG). This Ncoa6 fragment encompasses the N-terminal LXXLL motif (called DN1) and has a strong dominant negative effect on transactivation by retinoid and other nuclear receptors. This line shows transgene expression in the respiratory tract, liver, thymus, spleen, gall bladder, kidney, and adrenal gland and high expression in the heart.
