• Mutation details: Mouse Grem2 is postnatally overexpressed in adult cardiomyocytes under the control of regulatory elements from the alpha-myosin heavy chain (Myh 6) promoter that is active in the adult heart. qPCR analysis of whole heart RNA samples from transgenic mice confirmed a significant increase in Grem2 expression relative to wild-type controls.
