Mutation details: A single distal loxP site was inserted within intron 1 and a loxP site together with an FRT-flanked neomycin selection cassette was inserted in intron 4. Cre-mediated recombination of the loxP sites surrounding exons 2-4 in the germline resulted in deletion of the loxP flanked sequences.
