Mutation details: Exons 2-8 were replaced with a loxP-flanked neomycin selection cassette. The neo cassette was removed via Cre-mediated recombination. Immunoblot analysis confirmed the absence of protein expression in intestinal epithelial monolayers derived from organoids and intestinal epithelial cells isolated from the colon of homozygous mutant mice.
