description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsThis allele is derived from Fbln7tm1Hiya. Cre-mediated recombination resulted in the excision of the floxed sequence containing exon 2 and an FRT-flanked neo cassette. qPCR analysis revealed a severe loss of expression in the cortex and medulla of homozygous mutant kidneys. In situ hybridization confirmed the absence of expression in mutant kidney sections at the cortex level. (J:271278)
