Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Conditional ready, No functional change)
Mutation:    Insertion

Mutation detailsThe targeting vector HTGR03016_Z_6_A08 introduced upstream of exon 2 an FRT site, splice acceptor sequence, lacZ reporter gene, polyadenylation sequence, loxP site, neomycin resistance cassette, FRT site and loxP site. An additional loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 2. Flp-mediated recombination removed the reporter and selection cassettes and left exon 2 floxed. (J:283226)
