origin
Germline Transmission:  Earliest citation of germline transmission: J:300667
Parent Cell Line:  G4 (ES Cell)
Strain of Origin:  (129S6/SvEvTac x C57BL/6NCrl)F1
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout)
Mutations:    Insertion, Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsA loxP site was inserted into intron 3 and an FRT site flanked neomycin resistance gene and a second loxP site into the 3' UTR in exon 4. The neo cassette was removed through subsequent flp-mediated recombination and exon 4 was deleted through cre-mediated recombination. RT-qPCR confirmed the lack of transcription from this allele.
