Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

Npvftm1.1(icre)Gand expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsUsing homologous recombination in mouse embryonic stem cells, an internal ribosomal entry sequence (IRES) linked to an improved cre recombinase gene and an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance gene was targeted into the 3' untranslated region immediately downstream of the termination codon within the Npvf gene. FLPe-deleter mice were crossed to remove the FRT-flanked neomycin selection cassette. (J:300737)
