Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Targeted (Null/knockout, Recombinase)
Mutation:    Insertion

Cpne7tm1.1(cre)Sleep expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsVia homologous recombination in ES cells, the targeting vector inserted a nuclear localization sequence(NLS)-Cre-FRT-PGK-gb2-neo-FRT cassette (Cre cassette) downstream of the Cpne7 promoter. The PGK-Neo cassette was removed by crossing mice with CAG-FLPe mice. The western blot of whole brain samples did not show the detectable level of Cpne7 protein in homozygous mice. It is a null allele. (J:291955)
