description
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intergenic deletion
  Del(6Spam1-Hyal5)1Eki involves 2 genes/genome features (Spam1, Hyal5) View all

Mutation detailsCRISPR/Cas9 technology deleted a 56.9 kb genomic region encompassing Spam1 and Hyal5. Western blot analysis demonstrated absence of both proteins in cauda epididymal sperm. In addition, zymographic assays confirmed the complete absence of hyaluronidase activity in sperm. (J:294353)
