Transgene
description
Transgene Type:    Transgenic (Recombinase, Reporter)
Mutation:    Insertion

Tg(Atf3-GFP*,-cre)#Hiki expression driven by 1 gene

Mutation detailsThe BAC clone RP24-318C6, containing the Atf3 locus was modified by replacing the exon 2 of the Atf3 carrying the ATG initiation codon with a gene fragment of GFP from Aequorea coerulescens (AcGFP) attached to the mitochondrial targeting sequence of cytochrome c oxidase subunit VIII, followed by an IRES, cre recombinase and SV40-polyA. Three lines were generated. Line numbers were not indicated. The pound symbol (#) is used when no line is specified and/or lines are pooled. (J:253791)
