origin
Strain of Origin:  C57BL/6NTac
Mutation
description
Allele Type:    Endonuclease-mediated (Null/knockout)
Mutation:    Intragenic deletion

Mutation detailsCRISPR/cas9 mediated mutation using guide RNAs targeting exon 2 created a 5 bp deletion (ATGGC) in exon 2 resulting in a frameshift mutation and an AG to CT mutation of an AcuI restriction site. Densitometric quantification showed an over 95% reduction in immunoreactivity in tissues from homozygous mice. (J:336148)
