Mutation details: Pronuclear injection of two Ultramers-loxP sequences, two Arid3c cRNAs and Cas9 targeting exon 2 generated the removal of exon 2 after non homologous end joining using CRISPR/Cas9 technology. The removal of exon 2 leads to a frameshift and generates a STOP codon, which causes a loss of 74% of the C-terminal part of the protein, including the ARID and REKLES domains.
