The floxed-STOP2886 cassette contains four splicing acceptors, neomycin resistance gene, three polyadenylation signals, and the prokaryotic transcriptional termination. RT-PCR indicates that mRNA is decreased by 80% in homozygotes and Western blot analysis shows a decrease in protein levels. (J:358897)
