• thickness of the epithelial layers of seminiferous tubules is reduced from 12 to 5-7 layers
• extensive vacuolation is observed in the epithelial cells

adipose tissue
• cellular hypertrophy of brown adipose tissue, with a 1.65-fold enlargement of brown adipose tissue
• median cytoplasmic area of brown adipose tissue adipoctyes is increased by about 5-fold
• triacylglycerol content is increased in brown adipose tissue
• enlarged brown (5-fold) and white (2-fold) adipocytes
