• percentage of TFH (CXCR5+, ICOS+) cells reduced in the Peyer's patch and spleen
• the mean number of germinal centers is severely reduced (J:66702)
• decreased number of germinal center B cells and germinal center foci (J:155586)
• the size of the germinal centers is severely reduced
• the germinal center area is greatly reduced
• total cellularity of Peyer's Patches is substantially reduced
• interactions between T and B cells were impaired
• B cell proliferation normal
• no impairment in T-cell independent response and B cell development was normal
• B cell isotype switching was impaired in both primary and secondary T-cell dependent B cell response
• content of secreted IgA in the feces is dramatically reduced
• but serum IgA is normal
• after stimulation with T-cell dependent antigen
