• injection of P-selectin-blocking antibody into mutants completely abolishes rolling, while rolling is reduced in controls; this suggests that L-selectin-mediated rolling is absent in mutants
• treatment of mice with P- and E-selectin-blocking antibodies after TNFalpha intrascrotal injection dramatically reduces RFF (to <1%) compared to controls
• despite an accumulation of platelets in the liver, platelets fail to normally associate with Kupffer cells
