• lymphoid dendritic cells are increased in the follicle-associated epithelium (FAE)
• large decrease of immature follicular dendritic cells in Peyer's patches
• CD11b-CD8- dendritic cells are reduced in Peyer's patches
• reduction of B cells in Peyer's patches
• myeloid dendritic cells are mainly restricted to the small B-cell areas and are widely distributed in low numbers in the enlarged T-cell regions of Peyer's patches instead of being predominately located in the subepithelial dome
• myeloid dendritic cells are reduced in Peyer's patches
• reduced B220+ B cells/CD3+ T cell ratio, such that Peyer's patches consist mainly of T cells
• Peyer's patches are macroscopically undetectable, however structures lacking follicles and germinal centers are detected
• lack a well-organized subepithelial dome (SED) region
• defective follicular organization with no clear follicle demarcations
