Mouse lines carrying:
Keap1tm1Mym mutation (1 available); any Keap1 mutation (36 available)
phenotype observed in females
phenotype observed in males
N normal phenotype
mortality/aging
• none survived past 21 days of age
• death putatively due to gastric obstruction and excessive hyperkeratosis

digestive/alimentary system
• multiple cornified layers of the inner wall
• while relatively intact, inflammation and detachment was observed at advanced stages
• ulceration and infiltration of inflammatory cells in the detached area of the mucosa
• thickened cornified layer evident around 9 days of age
• at more advanced stages, the thickened layer detached and formed a multilayered keratinous mass in the gastric lumen

growth/size/body
• severe growth retardation beginning around 4 days of age, in spite of normal suckling ability
