• Pomc+ neurons in female mice at 3 and 6 weeks in the medial preoptic area, posterior hypothalamus and arcuate nuclei of the hypothalamus with ectopic neurons in the medial mammillary nucleus
• however, the numbers decline after 9 weeks with the onset of puberty
• ectopic Pomc+ neurons in female mice at 3 and 6 weeks in the medial mammillary nucleus
