phenotype observed in females
phenotype observed in males
N normal phenotype
homeostasis/metabolism
• regulation of the core body temperature to changes in ambient temperature was disrupted compared to wild-type or homozygous Cckbr mutants, however the circadian rhythm of body temperature was normal

behavior/neurological
• mice more entries into open arms than wild-type mice and Cckbrtm1Tom homozygotes
• however, the number of entries into enclosed arms is normal

endocrine/exocrine glands
• did not observe amylase secretion from dispersed acini in response to stimulation with the neuropeptide, CCK-8, however response to neuromedin C and carbachol was similar as in controls
• CCK-8 administration to homozygotes with ligation of the cystic duct and pylorus to exclude the involvement of gallbladder contraction and of gastric acid did not increase bile-pancreatic juice flow, amylase output or bicarbonate output as it did in controls, however response to acetylcholine and neuromedin C was similar as in controls
• no differences were observed in pancreatic wet weight/body weight and the protein, amylase, and chymotrypsin contents in the pancreas under normal conditions and glucose tolerance was normal in homozygotes
