• differences in the migration of class A neurons were apparent at E11 and more pronounced by E12.5, as observed by ectopically located neurons in the lateral positions of the dorsal spinal cord and at sites typically occupied by class B neurons
• a reduction of the numbers of dI1 neurons in the dorsal spinal cord, the alar plate, and no generation of dI2 and dI3 neurons, instead ectopic neurons of the class B (dI4) appear in the dorsal alar plate indicating that class A (dI2 and dI3) neurons were not correctly specified and assume the fate of class B neuronal subtype
