mortality/aging
• tetraploid rescued ES cell derived homozygous embryos die around E10.5
|
liver/biliary system
• in tetraploid rescued ES cell derived homozygous embryos, the liver bud forms but fails to expand by E10.5 and at E10.5 the liver bud is virtually indiscernible indicating a failure of the hepatoblasts to delaminate from the foregut
• however as in controls, the septum transversum mesenchyme surrounds the hepatic bud
|
embryo
• tetraploid rescued ES cell derived homozygous embryos are smaller than control embryos but develop at the same rate
|
cardiovascular system
N |
• in tetraploid rescued ES cell derived homozygous embryos, at E9.5, cardiogenesis and endothelial cell development are normal

growth/size/body
