• 12-week-old mice show a significant decrease in the Lyve-1+ lymphatic coverage of pancreatic tumors relative to double transgenic mice that are wild-type for Palm, indicating impaired tumor-associated lymphangiogenesis
• however, no changes in the number of pancreatic tumors, tumor volume, or intratumoral CD31+ blood microvessel density are observed relative to double transgenic mice wild-type for Palm

• 4-week-old mice show an increase in peri-insular lymphangiogenesis and Lyve-1+ lymphatic vessel density in the periphery of islets of Langerhans that is comparable to that seen in non-tumorigenic Tg(Ins2-VEGFC)#Pepr transgenic mice, consistent with de novo lymphangiogenesis
• however, no increase in CD31+ blood microvessel density is observed within islets, similar to Tg(Ins2-VEGFC)#Pepr mice, suggesting normal angiogenesis
