• at E13.5, Gad67-GFP+ interneurons in the rostral ventral forebrain exhibit decreased net rate of migration, shorter somal translocation, fewer translocation per hour, longer pauses, and fewer direction changes compared with wild-type interneurons
• at E15.5, migration of dorsal lateral ganglionic eminence-derived interneurons is disrupted compared to in wild-type mice
• at E18.5, cells in the anterior subventricular zone exhibit decreased migration to the olfactory bulb compared with wild-type cells
• mice exhibit ectopic streaks of Gad67(Gad1)-GFP+ interneurons extending radially from the anterior subventricular zone in the rostral cortex unlike in wild-type mice
• at E14.5 and E17.5, mice exhibit fewer proliferation cells at the ventricular surface and increased proliferating cells at the cortical plate compared with wild-type mice
