• female mice are hyperactive; there are trends to increased velocity, increased rearing, exploration and reduced grooming in female mutants

immune system
• there is a slight but significant decrease in the frequency of natural killer cells in female mutants
• the IgM level is 2 fold higher than controls

hematopoietic system
• mutants have an increased hematocrit
• mutants have increased total hemoglobin content in blood
• mutants have a higher mean hemoglocin content compared to wild-type
• mutants have a higher mean corpuscular volume compared to wild-type
• there is a slight but significant decrease in the frequency of natural killer cells in female mutants
• the IgM level is 2 fold higher than controls

homeostasis/metabolism
• on a potassium-rich diet, both males and females exhibit increased plasma aldosterone levels
• however, both males and females have normal plasma aldosterone levels under basal conditions and females exhibit normal adrenal gland and zona glomerulosa morphology
