• rotarod deficits are significant at 18 weeks and later
• appears by 4 weeks of age
• longer stance time and longer stride time
• both fore and hind paws are affected but more pronounced in hind paws

nervous system
• layer normal at 6 weeks but definitely thinner at 24 weeks of age
• dendritic atrophy of Purkinje cells seen but Purkinje cells themselves display an overall normal morphology
