hematopoietic system
• a decrease in CD3+ T cell population in total splenocytes is observed
• transgene expression increases the amount of Ceacam1 on the surface of transgenic cells in the thymus and in peripheral lymph nodes, but not in intestinal epithelial lymphocytes (iIEL)
• cells are less responsive than wild-type cells in a mixed lymphocyte response (MLR) assay
• cells exhibit decreased contact sensitivity response to oxazolone
• cells show lower proliferation compared to wild-type
