• dendritic cell-intrinsic reduction in regulatory T cell development from bone marrow cells transplanted into irradiated host mice
• however, deletion of blood-borne, antigen-specific CD4 single positive thymocytes is normal
• splenic dendritic cells show increased MHC class II surface expression relative to wild-type
• internalization of MHC class II surface molecules appears to be greater in mutants relative to wild-type
• internalized MHC class II molecules are localized to the recycling compartment, while in wild-type, these molecules localize to the lysosomal compartment
• dendritic cells are unable to present a GFP-fused I-Ealpha antigen unlike similarly treated wild-type mice (J:157516)
