• at E10.5, dorsal and ventral pancreatic buds appear normal; similar results show no difference compared to controls at E14.5

• at E14.5 and E18.5, expression of Neurog3, insulin, and glucagons is comparable to wild-type embryos; endocrine differentiation is normal

• no enteroendocrine defect is observed; pyloric region is normal, Brunner's glands are present in duodenum, and crypt/villus architecture in small intestine is not altered

• enteroendocrine cells differentiate normally
