• slight increase of CD4 single positive (SP) cells in thymus
• 15% of these CD4 SP thymocytes show surface expression similar to double positive thymocytes (except lacking CD8 expression)
• there is a small reduction in percentage of CD8 SP thymocytes
• there is a small reduction percentage of DP thymocytes
• there is no change in numbers or percentage of DC that express the CD8alphaalpha homodimer
• there is no change in numbers or percentage gammadelta IEL that express the CD8alphaalpha homodimer

immune system
