reproductive system
• elongated spermatids have abnormal head shapes, abnormally arranged mitochondria and erroneously attached flagella
• symplasts formed of undivided elongating spermatids are frequently formed
• spermatozoa are almost completely lost from the seminiferous tubules
• few elongated spermatids are present
• testes weight is 15% less than in wild-type mice
• elongating spermatids fail to progress into further maturation steps and are not translocated to the adluminal surface
• round spermatids develop normally but condensation of elongated spermatids is incomplete

endocrine/exocrine glands
• testes weight is 15% less than in wild-type mice
