• responses of heterozygous mutant peritoneal macrophages to all TLR ligands except CPG ODNs are similar to those of wild-type macrophages
• plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) from heterozygous mutant mice do not produce interferon alpha in response to mouse cytomegalovirus (MCMV), herpes simplex virus type I (HSV-1) or herpes simplex virus type 2 (HSV-2)
