neoplasm
• 43% (12 of 28) of mice develop spontaneous tumors with an average tumor latency of 17 months
• about 50% of mice synchronously developed more than 1 primary neoplasm
• the majority of tumors occur in the gastrointestinal tract
• mice may also develop epithelial tumors of the skin
• 75% of mice with tumors had lymphoid tumors
• 7 of 28 mice developed malignant lymphomas of the small intestine and mesenteric lymph nodes
• lymphomas also developed in the spleen, thymus, salivary glands, and pancreas
• histologically lymphomas resembled lymphoblastic lymphomas
• mice may also develop lung adenocarcinomas

integument
• mice may also develop epithelial tumors of the skin

digestive/alimentary system
