immune system
• following TCR stimulation, T cells exhibit delayed proliferation compared to in similarly treated wild-type cells
• however, T cell proliferation induced by PMA and ionomycin is normal
• the number of DN4 cells is increased compared to in wild-type mice
• however, other DN thymocytes exhibit normal numbers
• TCR stimulated Th1 function is impaired in mice polarized with soluble antigens from T gondii tachyzoites
• however, Th1 cell differentiation is normal
• in T cells stimulated with anti-CD3/CD28 antibodies
• T cells stimulated with anti-CD3/CD28 antibodies exhibit fewer cells producing IFN-gamma and reduced production levels compared to in similarly treated wild-type cells
• however, IFN-gamma production following stimulation with IL12 plus IL18 and PMA plus ionomycin is normal
• T cells polarized into Th1 cells by exposure to soluble antigens from T gondii tachyzoites exhibit reduced IFN-gamma production upon TCR stimulation compared in similarly treated wild-type cells
